As a member of our community for over 34 years, my family has utilized and appreciated LARPD facilities, which include our parks, sport fields, community center and trails. I hold a BS Degree in Criminal Justice and have many postgraduate courses in Recreation. As one of the founding members of the Tri-Valley Pickleball Club, we grew this non-profit organization to over 600 members in just three years. I’ve also been a softball coach at Livermore High School for the past 24 years.
During my 28 years in law enforcement, I managed our Community Policing Division, which was responsible for the Junior Giants program, 200 volunteers and a multi-million dollar budget. In addition, I coordinated events with the Hayward Area Recreation District, the Chamber of Commerce, Rotary and the Neighborhood Watch Program. I’m currently a pickleball instructor and liaison for LARPD. Together, we’ve collaborated to resolve community issues, planned events and scheduled classes.
I’ve dedicated my life to public service and will continue to do so if elected to the Board. It would be a privilege to have your vote, so we can create more fulfilling parks and recreation experiences for everyone in our community!
